A desperate escape in your phone

No scrolling, no drinking, no shallow dopamine hits to escape

Perhaps it is more raw, but more present and meaningful

Bubble up issues in front of your face

Reflect on your faults; awareness of deflecting

Uneasy and nauseating, but beautifully human

I wrote this in October last year, and left it hiding away in my drafts almost forgotten.

The further away I’ve stepped from phone addiction, the clearer it is that technocrats are the enemies of our hearts and health, and deeply dangerous for the future of our children and planet.

Recently I’ve fallen back into bad habits and spent too much time on socials, so perhaps this (now public) draft is was the reminder I need to revisit my rules, and scraps socials for good.
